The Spiritual Speakeasy

Our pod contains an energy packed, bio-geological, lunar object of immense power and fascination.  A site of great yet uncertain potential, the object is being studied and observed by the scientists and  residents of the Space Station. They are transfixed by the object: some wish to exploit it as a resource, some bask in its soothing radiation, for others it is a shrine, for others, a source of fear.

Our project aims to provoke questions about humanity's perceived need for expansion and the growing reach of our environmental impact into space. The satirical, fantastic idea of a nonexistent, miracle substance highlights humanity's futile collective search for "magic bullets", whether they are natural resources, scientific discoveries, or spiritual misdirection. There is no ultimate panacea for our human plight other than cooperation and innovation.
